What it is: A feathery green herb in the parsley family.

How to use dill:

  • Add to green salads, potato salad, egg salad and chicken salad.
  • Mix into scrambled or deviled eggs.
  • In pickled vegetables.
  • Toss with cucumber, olive oil and white or rice vinegar for a refreshing salad.

Why dill is good for you: Dill has Vitamin A and C, calcium, iron and manganese, and is said to have antioxidant , anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties.
