Red Leaf Lettuce

What it is: A variety of lettuce with large red leaves. Leaves may also be green towards the inside and red towards the outside.

How to use red leaf lettuce:

  • In salads.
  • As a wrap in lieu of bread or tortillas.
  • On burgers and sandwiches.

Why red leaf lettuce is good for you: Good source of fiber, high in Vitamins A and K.
